TAMPIA GOLD PROJECT

The Tampia Gold project was acquired by Auzex in April 2012 for a $500,000 cash payment to Tampiagold and Goldoro, who retain a free carried interest to completion of a definitive feasibility study. They then retain 20% participating interest or convert to equity and, or, a royalty interest.

The Tampia Gold project is located 300km east of Perth in the Wheat Belt of WA near the township of Narembeen (a wheat and sheep farming community), which is 12km north west of the project area. The project is covered by an Exploration Licence E70/2132 and two Mining Leases M70/815 and M70/816 (total area approx. 35km2).

The discovery of gold at Tampia Hill was the result of greenfields exploration by BHP Gold Mines Ltd in 1987 in a search for Griffins Find style of gold mineralisation in the Western Gneiss Terrain of the Yilgarn Craton.
